<p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Il 12 ottobre si è tenuta l’udienza preliminare per la “fabbrica dei veleni” di Praia a Mare, i<strong>
l Sindacato Intercategoriale Cobas ha chiesto la costituzione parte
civile, per appoggiare i propri iscritti parte lesa nel processo, per
sostenere la battaglia degli operai vittime della fabbrica e dei loro
familiari, per impedire ogni tentativo di insabbiare la vicenda.</strong></span></p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">L’udienza
è stata rinviata a sabato 16 per l’indisponibilità dell’avvocato della
parte padronale (accusati) Ghedini, impegnato in parlamento, che ha dato
disponibilità a presenziare al processo nei soli giorni di sabato e
lunedì</span>
</p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Dal 1973 al
2001 la Marlane (gruppo Marzotto) di Praia a Mare (CS), fabbrica tessile
di circa 300 operai, ha prodotto tessuti di vario genere, soprattutto
sintetici, spesso per divise militari.</span></p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Nella
lavorazione venivano utilizzati CROMO ESAVALENTE, COLORANTI A BASI
DIAZOTABILI E NEI FRENI DEI TELAI ERANO PRESENTI PARTI IN AMIANTO.</span></p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">
L’unica “protezione”, in uno stabilimento privo di adeguate protezioni e misure di sicurezza, era: .... <strong>far bere del latte agli operai intossicati.</strong></span></p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Dal
1973 fino alla chiusura dello stabilimento disposta dalla magistratura,
la produzione (di morte) è andata avanti con la complicità delle
istituzioni locali, delle istituzioni sanitarie, dei sindacati. Tutti
tacevano e sostenevano che non c’erano problemi, in nome dei profitti,
dell’occupazione, della pace sociale.</span>
</p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Al processo si è arrivati per l’ostinazione di Luigi Pacchiano (<strong>coordinatore provinciale del S.I. Cobas</strong>)
ammalatosi di tumore in fabbrica (una causa ha riconosciuto il rapporto
causa-effetto “ tra esposizione a nocività e tumore”), dei lavoratori e
dei loro familiari. Un’ostinazione che ha ribaltato quello che sempre
avviene in queste vicende:</span></p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">
<em>Tutti sapevano e nessuno ha parlato. Lo sapevano i sindacati. Lo
sapeva la direzione dell'azienda. Lo sapeva l'assessorato alla sanità.
Lo sapevano tutti, e non gli operai .</em></span></p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Il caso Marlane è, purtroppo, “uno dei tanti”.</span></p><p align="JUSTIFY"><span style="font-family: Verdana;">Siamo
impegnati in esso, perchè L’AVVELENAMENTO DEL TERRITORIO, GLI INFORTUNI
E LE MORTI SUL LAVORO E DI LAVORO HANNO RESPONSABILITÀ PRECISE. NON
SONO MAI UNA FATALITA’, MA OMICIDI COMMESSI NEL NOME DEI PROFITTI.</span>

del 2010 ci sono stati 814 morti sul lavoro e 814.646 infortuni, una
vera e propria guerra!
