hi tatiana!

unfortunately it doesn't look good for us to come out to venice next
weekend because of cost & timing with other projects.  but we are
definitely very interested in a venice-chicago connection during
AHACamping!

there are some simple&straightforward ways an online connection could
work; skype video streaming performance/seminar or an IRC channel (we
used an IRC channel for the first chicago hackmeeting that was
populated by hackers in chicago, chile and spain who's local
hackmeetings were happening at the same time).

also one thing we have done at chicago hackmeetings is the 'artware
deathmatch', a mash-up of software art & improvisatory computer game
playing/hacking/creating.  we could figure out some online space to do
this collaboratively with .it/.us hackers, for example co-editing a
google spreadsheet (or some other online office collaboration
software) into a crazy glitch battle.

another way to connect that's very simple is for us to send you some
videos.  i have a high-quality video recording of the 'dirty new
media' talk & 0UR080R05 could send you a video greeting card from .us
hackers to .it hackers.

any other ideas over there?
