unico spazio?
I fruitori possono
web).

Desire has always been considered one of the most intimate spheres of
mankind: a kind of intimacy locked up in itself, containing the dream
of an illusion. But what if the languages powered by the new media
tell our dreams? What if the new media gather and display our
intentions in a single space? This is the challenge of Hyperwish Move
around desire: to build a collective hyper-desire, a bridge between
the most intimate physical dimension (symbolized by the input
station) and the social one of the global network (symbolized by the
interaction with the sphere). Users can put in a personal desire
through a keyboard placed within the intimacy environment (or
remotely, through the website). All the desires gathered are then
broken down and re-united in a database, which is turned into a
"sensible archive", processed by the machine. In a second space, the
3D visualizations onto three screens make visible/sensible semantic
relations among words that normally escape awareness. The sphere
works as a "joystick" to navigate this "universe of desire". Its
swing, worked by the direct action of users, determines, in real
time, the perspective of visualization of the projections. Thanks to
the interaction with the sphere, users can linger on their desire or
on someone else's, look at their semantic constellation, reflect on
the "censure" (un)willingly operated by the machine, and perhaps
reconsider the assumption at the basis of their own first intention.
Will the final desire (at the end of the process and at the end of
the installation experience) be the same?

V.I.P.: Virtual Identity Process interactive exhibition
The installation gives the chance to human and digital identity to
meet each other in an interactive environment where the physical and
the virtual side of both entities are compared. The interactive
system is alimented by a Web connection and it has video and audio
components that generate them self in real time from the users
physical interaction and from their virtual interaction on the Web.
The installation consists into two layers: a vertical (frontal
projection) and a horizontal one (sensible screen/table). They are
both connected with the Net activity.Frontal projection: The user
jumps into the system typing his name on a keyboard. Web interaction
visual design: The name generates a Web sites referred to his
identity on the Net) manipulated into a creative pattern. Web
interaction sound design: a sounds carpet is generated by the
quantity and the quality of data, so by the database nature generated
in real time. Sensible screen/table: The user interacts with the
table surface generating and manipulating information with his hands.
Web interaction visual design: on the table all the Web sites
researches, referred to the visitors, are traslated into a virtual
map made by all the IP numbers activeted. The users can interact
collectively, generating repulsive and attractive power, opening
passages throught the Net flux, sharing and scattering virtual
identity fragments. Web interaction sound design: the quadrifonic
audio component immerge the visitors in sounds sensations generated
by the quality and the power of their interaction with the system.
V.I.P. tries to express the real life social networking desire. It
wants to show the technological and Net system power to stimulate new
communication relationships, with any hierarchy order, inspired by
the collective sense of sharing the contemporary world.
